"The First Chili Cookoff of the Century"

Chili Season is here again!

It's time for the "2000 Broadway Bash Chili Cookoff" benefiting the Natchez Children's Home. This year's event will take place on Saturday, November 4th, from 11:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. It will be held at the Main Street Marketplace on the corner of Main and Rankin. Special thanks to Alcorn State University for their cooperation, assistance, and for allowing the Cookoff to be held at this great facility.

Callon Petroleum Company will be the host of this year's Chili Cookoff. The committee has been working hard to make this year's event bigger and better, by raising more money and chef participation. Our goal this year is to raise $5,000 for the Natchez Children's Home. Feel bad because your chili's never won? Well, here's your chance to get even. One way for the Children's Home, and your team, to really clean up this year will be through the "Laundered Money Award." This will be presented to the team that raises the most money through vote-buying for its chili. There is no ticket to sell--just cash collected before and during the event. You, and The Children's Home, both will win!

There is an entry fee of $25 for each team. If you do not wish to enter a team, we urge you to be a corporate sponsor by donating $50 or more. Corporate sponsors will be listed on a sign at the entrance. Entry fees and donations ate tax deductible and all proceeds go to the Natchez Children's Home.
